Great dating bios are specific, warm and short. The single biggest mistake we see on Spanish profiles is generic language: 'love travel', 'foodie', 'looking for someone genuine'. Every one of those phrases is invisible because everyone uses them. Replace 'love travel' with 'just came back from three weeks driving through Galicia'. Replace 'foodie' with 'my Sunday religion is Casa Julio's tortilla'. Specificity is the whole game.
Three photos, in this exact order, do more than six clever prompts ever will. First: a clear face shot in daylight, taken by another human, no sunglasses. Second: a full-body photo actually doing something you enjoy — cooking, climbing, playing padel, walking a dog. Third: one social photo with a single friend, so people can see how you look next to another person. That's it. Everything after five photos hurts you more than it helps.
For Hinge prompts, pick one funny, one revealing and one that opens a conversation. 'A random fact I love is…' plus a specific, small answer will outperform any generic 'my typical Sunday' response ninety percent of the time. Never use prompts to list what you don't want — it reads as bitter, even when it isn't.
One final test. Read your bio out loud. If it sounds like a LinkedIn profile, rewrite it. If it sounds like you talking to a friend at a bar, ship it. That is the difference between a bio that gets swiped and a bio that gets a date.
